The circle is the foundation of the Enneagram symbol. It represents infinity, wholeness, oneness, and the eternal nature of God. It represents 0 and 9 in the Enneagram. The beginning and the end. The owl is representative of wisdom, transformation, and self-actualization. For some, there is some fear attached to the owl. They represent the unseen, that which is hidden but always there. Similarly to the web of life that connects us all, the cycles of our lives, the wholeness and unity of human life.

Once initiated into the path, you must walk it and integrate all that you know. The scarlet ibis symbolizes the Egyptian god Thoth, the god of writing, language, wisdom, equilibrium, and magic. Magic is applied knowledge. In order to grow you need to absorb information, take action, and rest. It's this constant, stable alchemy that fuels and keeps you on your path.

Here is the crow representing the darkest points of the journey. We often begin tackling our goals with strong emotions, but then the feeling fades... We lose sight of our intention. A planned structure is required to push through and finish. These lines in the Enneagram represent the constant changes in life, which never follow a straight path. It reminds us to be present and intentionally transform through discomfort.

The Enneagram is about breaking things down step by step and organizing it in a way that will make things possible. The Enneagram is a symbolic teaching that shows how to get you to any goal. It's a reminder to listen to your inner guidance system.
